So true. My daughter came home from school when she was eight and asked me why they called her mulatto. I picked her up and stood her in front of the mirror. I showed her the difference in the color of our skin. It is the wonder of the North African diversity. I suggested that she can accept it as a compliment or an insult. It will color her future. She considered it a compliment and never regretted the decision. :)
